At Heartland Power Cooperative, we continue to have TWO KEY PRIORITIES: Keeping the lights on & Safety of our Members and Employees.
Effective Monday, April 6th, our lobbies in Thompson and St. Ansgar will be closed to the public until further notice. While our lobbies are closed to the public, our employees and line crews are still working and continue to respond to outages 24/7. Please don't hesitate to call our offices if you need any assistance or have any questions 641.584.2251 or toll free at 800.349.2832. Payment may be made online using SmartHub, by calling the Secure pay line at 833.890.4830, left in our drop box or by mail.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as these measures are put into place. And as a reminder...the spread of COVID-19 may necessitate change in how we interact, but it will not change what we do!

At Heartland Power we have two key priorities at this time: keeping the lights on and the health and safety of our members and employees.
We are taking all available precautions to ensure we can continue providing reliable service to our members. At this time, our lobbies in both Thompson and St. Ansgar remain open, however, we highly encourage our members to utilize online payments through SmartHub, the secure payment phone line 833-890-4830, or outside dropboxes to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We understand some of our members may experience financial difficulties due to the impacts of COVID-19 and we encourage you to call us to make arrangements at 641-584-2251 or toll-free at 1-800-349-2832. If you have other cooperative business, please give us a call. It is extremely important that our employees remain healthy in order to continue serving our members’ needs and we want our members to remain healthy too. Notice of Heartland Power Cooperative Annual Meeting Changes
Due to the threat of COVID-19, changes have been made to the Heartland Power Cooperative Annual Meeting.
The Heartland Power Cooperative Annual Meeting is still scheduled for March 24, 2020, but the format has been changed to only confirm the mail-in ballots. We will proceed with the business portion of the meeting at the Heartland Power office in St. Ansgar in order to complete the Director election; We encourage all members who have been sent a ballot to vote by mail. The quorum requirement will be met with the mailed ballots for purposes of completing the election. There will be no other business conducted .
WE ARE DIRECTING MEMBERS NOT TO ATTEND DUE TO GOV. REYNOLDS EMERGENCY DECLARATION.
We apologize for any inconvenience this causes but these are unusual circumstances and we want to be mindful of the health and safety of our members and employees while still conducting the necessary business of the Cooperative.
